Building thoughtfully curated, beautiful, bounteous Grazing Tables is where Brie & Banquet began almost 6 years ago! We’re pioneers of grazing culture in Canada, being the first grazing company in Western Canada and only the second in Canada! We have an elegant, refined and unique styling that showcases our experience and understanding of what makes a perfect Grazing Table. It’s our roots, it’s our passion! Indulge your senses and impress your guests!

Our Grazing Tables are available in two styling options:

Option One: Elevated | Using our stands, tiers, platters, plates and trays, this styling option offers a unique, dynamic, modern visual with loads of texture, opulent elevation and height variation.

*this option is not recommended for tables serving less than 30 guests.

Option Two: Flat-lay | The biggest and most beautiful charcuterie board you’ve ever seen! This styling option is beautifully hand-styled and artfully designed on large, live-edge, solid wood boards, with a ‘laying flat’ aesthetic.

We work with your party décor and event colour palette to offer a custom tailored tablescape catering display unlike any other. We require between 30 - 90 minutes for set up immediately before your event start time.

Where do we set up a Grazing Table and what is required?

We require a flat, stable surface, preferably at dining table height (30”high), or lower, to build on. We can work on counter or bar height surfaces, however this elevation isn’t as glorious, as our Grazing Tables are best viewed from above. We do not provide a table to set up on or table linens. We can setup on almost any size space, as long as we have the option to build up. Let us know if your location is a bit tricky or uncommon, we can work together to find a solution!

What is included on the Grazing Table?

An abundant celebration of local farmers and food crafters, B&B Grazing Tables include the following items piled high on our stunning collection of plates, platters, stands, crockery and display-ware:

  • 7 local or highest quality import cheeses.

  • 5 local or highest quality import charcuterie meats.

  • A robust and dynamic selection of accompaniments including pickles, pickled vegetables and cornichons, olives, jams, jellies, bruschetta and antipasti.

  • Gourmet and small-batch crackers and rolls.

  • Nuts, dried fruit & local honeycomb.

  • Grapes and the best, most juicy and beautiful fresh fruit that each season has to offer.

  • B&B’s signature garnishes including edible flowers, dried citrus and fresh aromatic herbs.

NEW option to add colourful, fresh vegetable crudités featuring our beloved hummus and dips for only $5/person.

All inclusions (with the exception of very soft cheeses) are cut to an appropriate size for ease of self-serving and guest interaction. There is no need for cumbersome, awkward cheese knives or bread knives. Simple, fun, luxury noshing!

FAQs

Are the florals and greens real and are they included in the package pricing?

YES! We design florals in-house based on your colour preferences and the scale of your catering display. We use only real greens and florals and only fresh, premium blooms. When you are completing your final payment, we will ask for your design preferences and work our magic.

Do you get to keep the florals and live greens after your event?

YES! You get to keep the florals; they’re designed specifically for you and your event after all! We just need our vases back; you keep the greens and blooms! Giv’em a snip on their ends and some fresh water and they’ll last for days. All we ask is that you think of us when you smell them later ❤

What if we have gluten-free, vegetarian or pork-free guests?

No problem! When you are paying your final balance, we’ll ask if you would like the glutenous items styled with your Grazing Table, or kept separate. The same for meat, + pork. Let us know about any other special requests at booking.

Do we pickup the display-ware after your event?

No. Event spaces + venues are different, parties end at different times, sometimes they run late, sometimes event staff clean, sometimes your Aunt Shirley cleans, sometimes you don’t deal with any of it until sleeping in late and drinking a bunch of water… long-story-short scheduling for pickups can be tricky. To keep it simple for everyone, you (or your trusted pal, partner, or courier) return the display-ware to our kitchen studio, on your selected day, following your event. See our Rental Agreement HERE for full details on this process.

How much time do we need to setup?

We’re dialed and pretty quick! Almost everything that we offer is made in our kitchen and transported to your event location ready to go.

Generally we need about 45 - 90 minutes in the event space immediately before your guests arrive. We always schedule to finish 15 minutes before your event start time.

Do we provide a table to setup on or table linens?

No. We work in all kinds of spaces. Many of our events are in our client’s homes and backyards, or in unconventional event spaces like board rooms, breweries, tents and community halls. All spaces and their tables/countertops are different, and we can’t store endless shapes, sizes and inventory to suit. Let us know what you’re thinking and working with and we’ll find a solution together. We have recommendations for rental companies and lots of experience in all kinds of spaces ➺ we’re here to help!

How much space do we need to setup?

This depends on the serving size, of course, but we haven’t had an event yet where we didn’t make it work. We use tiers, risers, plinths and stands, so we can always build up if we are working with a smaller surface. Let us know if your space is smaller, exceptionally large,  or you need guidance regarding what size of table to rent ➺ we’re here to help.
