We are currently hiring for:
Delivery & Pickup Driver ~ Salary Position
Hours: As needed.
7 days a week for deliveries and pickups of catering and rentals. Flexible, daytime hours between 10am - 5pm based on the needs of the business. From 3 - 15 deliveries weekly + when required.
We are looking for a reliable and punctual Catering Delivery Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering catering orders to clients’ events, ensuring that food and supplies arrive on time and in perfect condition. This role requires the use of your personal vehicle and cell phone, excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely and efficiently deliver catering orders to specified locations.
Ensure timely deliveries in accordance with scheduled timelines.
Load and unload food, equipment, and supplies for each order.
Verify that all items for delivery are complete and correct before departure.
Maintain a professional, clean, and friendly appearance while interacting with clients.
Assist with setup and breakdown of catering events, if needed.
Handle and resolve any issues or concerns from clients in a polite and professional manner.
Maintain and keep vehicles clean and properly stocked for each delivery.
Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations.
Assist with inventory management, ensuring all equipment and materials are accounted for.
Requirements:
Ability to carry and lift with only your hands, up to 50 pounds.
Previous delivery or customer service experience preferred.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Must be able to work independently.
Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
Must be dependable.
Knowledge of local area and efficient route planning is a plus, though we will provide routes for efficiency during busy times.
A very steady hand and great balance.
Valid drivers license with valid insurance.
Well kept, clean, reliable transportation with a completely flat trunk or interior storage area - SUVs or vans preferred.
Valid ProServe Certificate (for delivering alcohol).
Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
You MUST have an aggressive attention to detail, and a graceful sense of urgency.
Working, reliable cellphone with robust data plan including Google Maps and texting capability.
Flexible schedule including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Sous Chef / Kitchen Manager
Location: Brie & Banquet HQ, 524 42 Ave SE Calgary
Hours: 25 hours per week, Thursdays thru Sundays.
MUST be available Thursdays, early mornings on Fridays and Saturdays (occasional 5/6am starts), and Sunday mornings - if you are not available on these days/times, please do not apply.
Must have reliable personal transportation and a drivers license - public transit does not come to our kitchen in the early mornings that you will be required to work.
We are looking for a skilled, reliable, and hard-working Sous Chef/Kitchen Manager to join our micro culinary team. This person will work very closely with the Head Chef/Owner Katie in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring a flawless aesthetic and exceptional food quality, while maintaining efficiency and timely delivery of off-site and boxed catering.
This role requires adaptability, strong leadership, creativity, and a passion for beautiful food and impeccable client experiences. This role will include preparing cold and hot small bites, canapes and hors d'oeuvres, salads, buffet displays and preparing cheese and charcuterie for our Grazing Tables. Preparing ingredients, cleaning, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations, regardless of the tasks required to do so. This role is ideal for someone passionate about food, hospitality and client experiences, that is prepared to HUSTLE and eager to learn in a fast-paced, dynamic, unconventional kitchen environment. We are a small business and you will have to prepare and cook, not just delegate.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Head Chef/Owner in food preparation and kitchen management.
Ensure all food is prepared according to our recipes, robust presentation standards, and quality control measures.
Handle kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef/Owner.
General kitchen tasks and chores like food preparation, chopping, slicing, cleaning, proper storage of food items, adhering to food safety standards.
Supervising other kitchen staff ensuring tasks are completed to high standards. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and feedback.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment; cleaning kitchen surfaces, equipment, cleaning dishes and removing garbage when required.
Oversee inventory management, including receiving, and storing food supplies.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and workstations, following food safety and sanitation standards.
Requirements:
Previous kitchen experience in a professional kitchen is required (current culinary students are welcome so long as you are a natural leader with robust kitchen skills).
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
Valid AHS food safety certification.
Ability to multitask and work well under extreme pressure in a high-volume kitchen environment.
You MUST have an aggressive attention to detail, and a fierce and graceful sense of urgency - this is an absolute non-negotiable - you must work FAST and FLAWLESS.
Strong communication and multitasking skills.
Flexible schedule including very early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
